Your adventure begins with a scenic drive from Kathmandu to Syabrubesi, a small village located at the foot of the Langtang Himal. Enjoy views of terraced fields, traditional villages, and the first glimpses of the Langtang range along the way. This journey will take around 6-7 hours, setting the stage for your trek.

On Day 2, you’ll begin your trek through lush forests, passing through Bamboo and Rhododendron forests. The route follows the Langtang River, offering a steady ascent to Lama Hotel. The trek takes approximately 5-6 hours, and you will be treated to the first views of towering peaks, as well as the diverse flora and fauna of the region.

Continuing your trek, today you will ascend to Langtang Village, the largest settlement in the Langtang Valley. The 5-6 hour trek takes you through a picturesque landscape, where you can enjoy beautiful views of the Langtang range. In Langtang Village, you will encounter the Tamang culture and local Tibetan architecture, providing an authentic glimpse into the traditional way of life in the valley.

On Day 4, the trek becomes more scenic as you approach Kyanjin Gompa, a Buddhist monastery and spiritual center. The trek takes about 4-5 hours, passing through alpine meadows and offering magnificent views of Langtang Lirung and other peaks. Once at Kyanjin Gompa, you will visit the monastery and enjoy the peaceful surroundings.

Spend the day resting and acclimatizing to the altitude. You can take a short hike to Tserko Ri (5,000m) for panoramic views of the Langtang glacier, or explore the nearby Kyanjin Ri viewpoint. This day is crucial to allow your body to adjust to the high altitude, ensuring a safe continuation of the trek.

After a restful acclimatization day, you begin your descent to Rimche, a small village in the valley. The trek takes about 5-6 hours, and you will follow the same route back, passing by traditional Tamang villages and beautiful terraced fields.

Today’s trek is a 5-6 hour journey to Thulo Syabru, passing through lush forests and small Tamang villages. The route gradually ascends, and you will enjoy views of surrounding peaks and the Langtang range. Thulo Syabru offers a beautiful view of the valley below.

On Day 8, your trek takes you to Chandanbari, a scenic village known for its yak herders and traditional Tibetan culture. The 5-6 hour hike passes through forests and offers stunning views of the Langtang Himal. Enjoy the tranquility of the area and rest for the night in a local lodge.

Today, you’ll make your way to Gosainkunda, a sacred lake that is a pilgrimage site for both Hindus and Buddhists. The trek will take about 5-6 hours, and you will ascend through rhododendron forests and high alpine meadows. As you approach Gosainkunda, the tranquil lakeside surrounded by snow-capped peaks offers a serene atmosphere.

After exploring Gosainkunda, you will descend to Ghopte. The 6-7 hour trek takes you over the Laurebina Pass (4,610m), the highest point of the trek, offering panoramic views of the Himalayas. The path leads to Ghopte, a small village nestled in the mountains, where you will rest for the night.
