As you gain altitude, the views of the mountains become even more breathtaking. Dole is a small, peaceful village offering excellent views of the surrounding peaks, where you’ll spend the night to acclimatize.

Today’s trek is relatively short but still takes you up to higher altitudes. As you continue through the valley, you will see the magnificent peaks of Cho Oyu and other mountains surrounding you. The area is more barren and offers stunning, wide-open views of the rugged Himalayan terrain. Machermo is a small settlement with spectacular views of the snow-capped peaks.
