After breakfast, you'll head to Tribhuvan International Airport for an early morning flight to Lukla, a small mountain town. The 30-minute flight offers stunning views of the Himalayas. Upon arrival in Lukla, you’ll begin your trek to Phakding. The trail is mostly downhill, passing through small villages and offering magnificent views of the surrounding mountains.
Today, the trail ascends gradually towards Namche Bazaar. The walk will take you through beautiful forests of pine and rhododendron and across suspension bridges over the Dudh Koshi River. As you approach Namche, the first views of Mount Everest and the surrounding peaks will appear, offering a glimpse of the grandeur to come. Namche Bazaar is a vibrant Sherpa town and an excellent place for acclimatization.
