Upon arrival in Kathmandu, you’ll be greeted by our representative and transferred to your hotel. After settling in, you will have the rest of the day at leisure to rest and recover from your flight. You may also explore the local area or enjoy a traditional Nepali meal. In the evening, a briefing about the upcoming trek will take place, ensuring you are well-prepared for the journey ahead.

After breakfast, you’ll head to the airport for a scenic flight to Lukla. The flight offers spectacular views of the mountains as you land at the Tenzing-Hillary Airport. Upon arrival in Lukla, you’ll begin your trek to Phakding, passing through charming villages, terraced fields, and lush forests. The trail is easy, making for a pleasant start to the trek. You’ll reach Phakding by afternoon and have time to relax and enjoy the tranquil setting.

Today’s trek takes you to Namche Bazaar, the main trading hub of the Khumbu region. The trail follows the Dudh Koshi River, crossing several suspension bridges along the way. The final stretch to Namche is a steep ascent, but the view of the surrounding mountains is well worth the effort. Namche Bazaar is a vibrant Sherpa town with a variety of shops, restaurants, and guesthouses, making it the perfect spot for an acclimatization day.

Acclimatization is essential for high-altitude treks, and today will be spent acclimatizing in Namche. You can take a short hike up to Everest View Hotel, which provides magnificent panoramic views of Mount Everest, Lhotse, and Ama Dablam. Alternatively, explore the town of Namche, visiting the local market, the Sherpa Cultural Museum, or just enjoy the view of the surrounding mountains.

Today’s trek will take you to Dole. The trail begins with a gradual ascent through pine and rhododendron forests, and as you climb higher, you’ll be rewarded with stunning views of the surrounding peaks. The small village of Dole is a peaceful spot for rest and acclimatization, offering clear views of the valley below and the mountains surrounding you.

The trek today is shorter but still takes you up to Machermo, where you’ll have stunning views of Cho Oyu and other snow-capped peaks. The trail continues through alpine meadows and offers beautiful views of glaciers and streams. Upon reaching Machermo, enjoy the peaceful atmosphere and prepare for further acclimatization.

Today, you’ll trek to Gokyo, a picturesque village located by several glacial lakes. The route will take you through rugged terrain, including moraines and alpine meadows. As you approach Gokyo, the blue waters of the lakes come into view. The village offers stunning views of Mount Cho Oyu, and it’s the perfect place for a rest and acclimatization.

This is a challenging but rewarding day. Early in the morning, you’ll ascend to Gokyo Ri, which provides one of the best panoramic views in the entire Everest region. From the summit, you can see Everest, Lhotse, Makalu, and Cho Oyu. After taking in the breathtaking views, you’ll descend back to Gokyo for a brief rest before trekking to Thangnak, a small village further along the trail.

Today is a long and physically demanding day as you cross Cho La Pass, one of the highest passes in the Khumbu region. The pass is often snow-covered, and the route can be tricky, but the stunning views make the effort worthwhile. Once over the pass, you’ll descend into Dzongla, a small settlement with beautiful views of the surrounding mountains.

After leaving Dzongla, you’ll continue your trek toward Lobuche, a small village located near the Khumbu Glacier. The trail offers beautiful views of the surrounding peaks, including Pumori and Nuptse, and passes through barren, rocky terrain. Lobuche is the perfect place to rest before the final push to Everest Base Camp.

Today is a momentous day as you make your way to Everest Base Camp. The trail follows the Khumbu Glacier, passing through moraines and rocky terrain. Once at base camp, you’ll feel the excitement of standing at the foot of the world's highest peak. After spending some time at Base Camp, you’ll descend to Gorak Shep, where you’ll spend the night.

An early morning hike to Kala Patthar rewards you with one of the best views of Mount Everest and the surrounding peaks. The sunrise over the Himalayas is a once-in-a-lifetime experience. After enjoying the views, you’ll trek down to Dingboche, a beautiful Sherpa village that offers incredible views of the surrounding mountains.

Today’s trek takes you to Island Peak Base Camp, where you’ll begin preparing for the summit. The route is challenging as you ascend through rocky terrain, but the incredible views of the surrounding peaks make it a rewarding journey. Base camp is situated at 5,200 meters and offers the perfect opportunity to acclimatize and get ready for the climb.

Summit day is physically demanding but incredibly rewarding. You’ll start early in the morning for the ascent to the summit of Island Peak. The climb requires some technical mountaineering skills, including the use of crampons, ice axes, and ropes. The views from the summit are unparalleled, with panoramic vistas of Everest, Makalu, Lhotse, and many other peaks. After reaching the summit, you’ll descend back to Chhukung for a well-earned rest.

This is a contingency day, in case the weather prevents a successful summit attempt. If the weather was clear on the summit day, you’ll have a day to rest, explore Chhukung, or descend to lower altitudes.

The trek today will be mostly downhill, retracing your steps back through the Khumbu Valley. You’ll pass through picturesque Sherpa villages, and the trail offers great views of the Himalayas. Upon reaching Namche, you’ll have time to relax and enjoy the town before heading back to Lukla.

The final leg of your trek takes you back to Lukla, where your journey began. The trail follows the Dudh Koshi River, and you’ll pass through forests, suspension bridges, and small villages along the way. Once in Lukla, you can rest and reflect on your adventure.

After breakfast, you’ll take a flight from Lukla back to Kathmandu. The flight offers one last view of the stunning Himalayas before you land in Kathmandu. Upon arrival, you’ll be transferred to your hotel.

After breakfast, you’ll be transferred to Tribhuvan International Airport for your flight home, marking the end of your unforgettable journey in the Himalayas.
