This trek offers stunning views of the Everest massif, picturesque mountain lakes, and an immersive cultural journey. It’s perfect for trekkers looking for adventure and a unique perspective of the Everest region without the crowds of the Everest Base Camp trek.

Starting from Kathmandu, you fly to Lukla, a small town in the Solu-Khumbu region, and begin your trek. The journey follows well-established trekking routes, passing through lush forests, Sherpa villages, and ancient monasteries. Along the way, you'll traverse traditional Sherpa settlements, where you’ll experience the region’s rich culture and hospitality.

The trek takes you to Gokyo, a beautiful high-altitude village located near a series of pristine turquoise lakes. From Gokyo, you hike up to Gokyo Ri (5,357 meters), which offers one of the most breathtaking panoramic views in the Himalayas, including the Everest, Lhotse, Makalu, and Cho Oyu peaks. The views of the Gokyo Lakes, surrounded by snow-capped mountains, are unforgettable.

On the descent, the trek offers more opportunities to witness Nepal’s natural beauty and serene landscapes. You’ll trek through the lush Sagarmatha National Park, home to diverse flora and fauna.
