Today, you’ll trek from Phakding to Namche Bazaar, the gateway to the Everest region. The trail follows the Dudh Koshi River, crossing several suspension bridges, and ascends steeply towards Namche Bazaar, offering beautiful views of Everest and other peaks.
Acclimatization is crucial at this altitude. Spend the day exploring Namche Bazaar and surrounding areas. You can hike to the Everest View Hotel or take a stroll around the village to help your body adjust to the higher elevation.
Leaving Namche Bazaar, you'll trek through dense forests of pine and rhododendron, gradually gaining altitude. The route offers stunning views of the Khumbila peak and other surrounding mountains as you make your way to the village of Dole.
