The flight offers spectacular views of the snow-capped peaks of the Himalayas, and upon arrival in Lukla, you'll be welcomed by the lively atmosphere of this bustling town. From here, your trek to Namche Bazaar begins. The trail is a steady climb through beautiful Sherpa villages, dense forests, and scenic landscapes. After crossing several suspension bridges over the Dudh Koshi River, you'll ascend gradually, passing through areas rich in natural beauty and Buddhist culture. The walk to Namche Bazaar takes about 7-9 hours, and upon arrival, you'll be rewarded with magnificent views of Everest, Lhotse, and other peaks. Namche Bazaar is the main trading hub of the Khumbu region, so it’s an ideal place to acclimatize and explore.

Today’s trek takes you deeper into the Everest region, as you continue your journey towards Dole. The day starts with a gradual ascent from Namche Bazaar as you head toward Mong La, where you’ll be rewarded with beautiful views of the surrounding mountains. The trail continues through lush forests of pine and rhododendron, crossing streams and passing small Sherpa settlements along the way. As you trek higher, the landscape becomes more alpine, and you'll start to feel the altitude. Dole is a small settlement nestled on a ridge, offering excellent views of the surrounding mountains. This will be your stop for the night, and it’s also a good place to rest and acclimatize to the higher altitudes.

Today’s trek takes you to the stunning Gokyo lakes. The trail is a gradual ascent from Dole, passing through the village of Luza before continuing to Machhermo. As you gain altitude, the vistas become even more dramatic, with sweeping views of the peaks of Cho Oyu, Thamserku, and the surrounding valleys. Upon reaching Gokyo, you'll be welcomed by a series of turquoise lakes, which are some of the highest in the world. Gokyo is a serene, picturesque village situated on the shores of the lakes, with an incredible backdrop of snow-capped peaks. This is one of the most challenging days of the trek as you’ll be crossing the famous Cho La Pass. Starting early, you'll trek from Thangnak towards the pass. The trail can be icy and challenging, especially at higher altitudes, so it’s important to take your time. As you cross the pass at 5,368 meters, the feeling of accomplishment will be overwhelming as you look out over the stunning landscape of snow-covered peaks and valleys below. After descending from the pass, you’ll continue towards Dzongla, a small village nestled in the valley, where you'll spend the night. Dzongla offers beautiful views of the surrounding mountains, including the impressive peaks of Ama Dablam and Cholatse.

Today, you’ll reach one of the most iconic destinations of the trek: Everest Base Camp. The journey to the base camp begins early, as you leave Dzongla and head towards Lobuche, then onwards to Gorak Shep. The trek is long, but it’s filled with incredible views of the Everest massif, including the Khumbu Glacier. As you finally reach Everest Base Camp, the sense of awe and achievement is unmatched. From here, you’ll enjoy the stunning sight of towering ice walls and the famous Khumbu Icefall. After spending some time at the base camp, you’ll retrace your steps back to Gorak Shep, where you’ll stay the night, feeling the immense satisfaction of reaching one of the most famous places on Earth.

After taking in the breathtaking scenery and snapping some photos, you’ll descend back to Gorak Shep and continue your trek down the valley towards Pheriche. After a restful night in Pheriche, you’ll begin your descent back towards Namche Bazaar. The trail is a combination of descending and flat terrain, making the walk relatively easy compared to the earlier parts of the trek. As you retrace your steps, you’ll pass through familiar villages, cross the Dudh Koshi River again, and enjoy the views of the mountains in the distance. Upon reaching Namche Bazaar, you'll feel a sense of nostalgia as you return to this vibrant hub. It’s a great opportunity to relax, do some last-minute shopping, and reflect on the incredible journey you've just completed.

On your final day of trekking, you’ll make your way back to Lukla. The descent is mostly downhill and follows a well-marked trail through the lush forests, past small villages, and across suspension bridges. Once you arrive in Lukla, you’ll have the chance to unwind, enjoy the end of your trek, and prepare for your flight back to Kathmandu.
