I had the privilege of trekking to Annapurna Base Camp with Sherpa Expedition, and it was an unforgettable journey. Our guide, Dorjee Tamang, was the perfect balance of professional, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable. From the moment we met in Kathmandu, everything was smoothly managed. Our flights, transportation, and accommodations were seamless. Dorjee led our group with patience and positivity, explaining the route clearly and always prioritizing our well-being. The views along the way were breathtaking—from lush jungle trails to dramatic cliffs and open alpine landscapes. Dorjee shared fascinating insights about the local culture and history, making the trek not only physically rewarding but mentally enriching. Sherpa Expedition’s support staff and porters were equally fantastic—always smiling, helpful, and respectful. Every tea house was clean and cozy, with great food to fuel us for the day ahead. Reaching Annapurna Base Camp was emotional. Surrounded by towering snow-capped peaks, it felt like we were in a different world. This was more than a trek—it was a life experience. I can’t thank Dorjee and Sherpa Expedition enough for making it so special.
My ABC trek with Sherpa Expedition and our guide, Mingmar Sherpa, was one of the most transformative experiences of my life. I came seeking a challenge and left with peace, strength, and new perspective. Mingmar was outstanding—humble, spiritual, and deeply connected to the mountains. His calm presence made the trek feel not just like a hike but a meditative journey. He was attentive, ensuring everyone adapted to the altitude and never felt left behind. The natural beauty we walked through was unreal. Terraced fields, waterfalls, swinging bridges, and deep forests made every day feel like a new adventure. As we got closer to base camp, the views became more powerful, and the stillness of the mountains was awe-inspiring. Sherpa Expedition’s planning and service were impeccable. Every detail—from warm sleeping bags to fresh meals—was taken care of with care. I also appreciated their respect for the environment and local communities. When I stood at ABC and looked at Annapurna I, I felt overwhelmed with gratitude. Thank you, Mingmar, for guiding me through a life-changing trek.
Sherpa Expedition provided a flawless Annapurna Base Camp trek experience, and our guide, Karma Sherpa, was exceptional. He had a strong but gentle presence, and his mountain wisdom gave the group great confidence throughout the journey. Karma took care of every detail—from pacing to altitude checks—and always kept morale high with stories and encouragement. His love for the Himalayas was contagious. The route was stunning. We passed through thick forests, charming villages, and into snow-covered highlands. Karma taught us local customs, pointed out mountain names, and even helped us order the best meals at tea houses! Sherpa Expedition arranged everything perfectly. The lodges were clean and warm, the food was surprisingly tasty, and the porters were kind and hardworking. It truly felt like a team effort. Standing at Annapurna Base Camp surrounded by massive peaks was humbling and beautiful beyond words. I’ll carry this experience forever, and I’m so thankful to Karma and Sherpa Expedition. Highly recommend them to anyone dreaming of Nepal.
