Conquer the Himalayas.

I did the Everest Three High Pass Trek and Island Peak with Sherpa Expedition and had an amazing time! As a 21 year old female traveling alone, my guide Mindu made me feel very safe and comfortable. He was a great support throughout the trek, helping me get medication when I came down with a bad cold and guiding me to a successful summit of Island Peak, despite me lacking previous climbing experience. Since I was the only client on the trek, Mindu and I spent a lot of time together. He was great company, sharing his knowledge about the mountains and daily life in Nepal, which made the journey even more memorable. The trek itself offered jaw-dropping views and offered incredible variety, from Gokyo's stunning lakes and the iconic Everest Base Camp to the challenging but rewarding high passes and the adventure of summiting Island Peak, it truly has it all. The booking went smoothly with Sherpa Expedition always being available to answer questions about preparation and gear. Additionally, they were in close contact with me when my flight to Lukla was cancelled and gave recommendations that allowed me to book a helicopter flight at a much more affordable price than many trekkers were offered by their agencies. I would highly recommend Sherpa Expedition, and especially Mindu, to anyone looking for a safe, professional, and unforgettable trekking experience in Nepal.

We have just returned from the most amazing trip to EBC and can highly recommend Sherpa Expedition and Trekking. Ram couldn’t have been more helpful with the organisation of the trip and Lhakpa, our guide and his team of porters, were the most friendly, helpful, professional, caring, funny team you could possibly wish to meet – we can only thank then so much for making this trip so special! From start to finish we felt we were in expert hands and the equipment provided (sleeping bags and down jackets) were of the highest quality and kept us super warm. The trip in our opinion is very challenging both mentally and physically due to the altitude and cold but it was a life enhancing experience which we are both so delighted to have completed. We were blessed with the most stunning weather, blue skies every day apart from the trek back from EBC where it snowed!!! The scenery is absolutely breath-taking and will be engrained on our memory forever. The Nepalese people are friendly, humble and tremendously hardworking and to witness the porters carrying the most unbelievably heavy loads in such difficult terrain was truly inspiring. The trails vary from steep rugged, rocky paths to man-made steps and paving which give knees a serious workout. The terrain our guide rated as British flat (flat), Nepalese flat (very hilly) and Sherpa flat (steep uphill!!). We were amazed when we walked back from EBC to just see how many steep climbs we had negotiated on the way up!! The teahouses were chosen each day by our guide and they were all clean, welcoming, excellent food and chilly at nights. In summary if you are thinking of a trip to EBC just book it!!!! Ram and his amazing team will guide you through it! We hope to return and do another trek (when we have recovered!!!!!)

It was my Third time in Nepal having the Himalayan experience. My wife and I were planning to spend our holiday in Nepal for a long time, and also it was my longtime dream to trek to Himalaya and be in the mountains. We then finally decided to venture for Everest base Camp Trek which later turned into a lifetime experience for us. Having completed this trek successfully with the help of the Sherpa.
